Legendary single-seater team Double R Racing is celebrating title glory once again after Sweden’s Linus Lundqvist wrapped-up the 2018 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship in style at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit over the weekend, 13th/14th October.
Taking a dominant lights-to-flag victory in round 22 on Saturday afternoon, having earlier secured a clear pole position in qualifying, Swedish racer Lundqvist was able to seal the coveted British F3 title for Woking’s Double R with two rounds to spare.

Krishnaraaj Mahadik added two more podiums to his 2018 tally during the penultimate race meeting of the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship season at Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit over the weekend, 22nd/23rd September, to also climb into the top four in the standings for Double R Racing.

British motorsport star Kiern Jewiss tightened his grip on the F4 British Championship certified by FIA powered by Ford title battle at Silverstone National Circuit over the weekend, 15th/16th September, to open a lead of 62 points for Double R Racing with just one event to go.
Knockhill Circuit in Scotland provided a more challenging than expected series of races for F4 British Championship certified by FIA powered by Ford squad Double R Racing over the weekend, 25th/26th August, but series leader Kiern Jewiss still departed the Fife track with a healthy 31-point advantage.
Double R Racing’s Linus Lundqvist chalked-up another brace of podium results in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship at a hot and very sunny Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit over the weekend, 4th/5th August, and departed the Kent track 111 points clear at the top of the driver standings.
Two more podium results at Rockingham in Northamptonshire over the weekend, 11th/12th August, enabled Double R Racing’s Kiern Jewiss to re-open a significant lead of 45 points in the battle for the 2018 F4 British Championship certified by FIA powered by Ford title.
